Some of the Magazines Published in Japan
Back in 1998 there was a year-long UK98 Festival in Japan, jointly sponsored by the UK and Japanese governments. Tony Blair, still fresh from his recent election victory came to Tokyo to open the festival. My team and I produced the official CD-ROM, British Style along with a monthly print magazine all about the UK and its connections with Japan: Gateway UK. Many celebrities came over, from Richard Branson to Rowan Atkinson to take part. Below, you'll see Richard Branson showing off the magazine (sponsored by Virgin and Apple) and Tony Blair shilling for British Style. A great, if exhausting, year.
